We do masonry work for a wide range of project sizes and industries including commercial, institutional, and industrial. Fair Masonry is a proud member of the Mason Contractors Association of America.

The Heritage

Fair Masonry is a third generation, locally owned masonry company tracing its roots back to our Great Uncle Al. Uncle Al started the trade by self-tutelage in the fifties while working for a house mover in Atlanta, Georgia. He took to the craft and quickly became a highly regarded union foreman in the Masons and Bricklayers Union Local 8.

In the sixties, our father Richard W. Fair began working as an apprentice to Uncle Al. He learned from the best as Uncle Al gave him a craft and a direction. He taught his sons Ricky and BJ the trade at an early age and the company is still growing steadily under their leadership.

The Inspiration

Richard W. Fair made a lifetime of his work. Memories of him continue to inspire others as his countless stories and sayings are still repeated on the job site. His endearing nicknames stuck with him and people still refer to him as Mr. Clean and the Rev. Richard Fair passed his craft on to all of us at Fair Masonry and we owe its existence and success to this man and his instruction.

The Future

Fair Masonry’s strategy for the future is simple: Take care of our existing customers while expanding our base. Our commitment is to deliver projects on time, maintain attention to detail, and bid aggressively.

Meet Our Team

Richard Fair, President & Estimating Director

With nearly 25 years of experience, Ricky Fair is proud to be a third generation Mason and President of Fair Masonry. He worked as an Apprentice Mason under his dad, Richard W. Fair, when Fair Masonry was Fair Brick Co. In addition to learning the trade, Ricky is thankful that his father taught him to have a strong work ethic at a young age and the value of money earned through good, honest work. “He was a master mason, and I love that I can carry on his skill and our family name in the field of masonry,” Ricky says of his dad. Imitating his father’s example, Ricky believes in treating people fairly and giving respect to those who have earned it.

In the daily operations of the business, Ricky wears many hats. From estimating and budgeting to communication, sales, and facilitation, he has a hand in all the operations at Fair Masonry.

Ricky and his wife Kelly were married in 1993 and have three wonderful daughters, Taylor, Peyton, and Landon. Ricky is a member of Gateway Fellowship in Macon Georgia, and loves hunting, fishing, and UGA football.
